The Queen has approved that Professor Lyndal Roper, Fellow and Tutor in History at Balliol College, be appointed Regius Professor of History in the University of Oxford.

Friday 18 March

Balliol College is very pleased to announce that it has offered the Mastership of the College to Professor Sir Drummond Bone, MA DLitt DUniv (Glas) FRSE FRSA, and he has accepted.  The formal election will be in Trinity Term 2011.  Professor Bone will take up the post this October.
