The main service is held on Sundays during term time in the evening, at 5.30pm. Members of the public are welcome to attend. Services and preachers for Michaelmas Term 2025 are as follows:

Members and Friends of the Balliol community of all faiths and none, and members of the public, are warmly welcome to attend services in Chapel.
In addition to the Sunday Service, daily prayers are said in Chapel at the following times, led by the Chaplain or by a student:
- Monday — 6.00pm
- Tuesday — 6.00pm
- Wednesday — 6.00pm
- Thursday — 12.00noon
- Friday — 12.00noon
Choral Compline will take place on Wednesday 5 November at 9.00pm.

This term, Chapel collections will be donated to the Porch Steppin’ Stone Centre, a local charity supporting Oxford’s homeless and poorly housed population.
