The main service is held on Sundays during term time in the evening, at 5.30pm. Members of the public are welcome to attend. Services and preachers for Trinity Term 2026 are as follows:

Members and Friends of the Balliol community of all faiths and none, and members of the public, are warmly welcome to attend services in Chapel.
In addition to the Sunday Service, daily prayers are said in Chapel at the following times, led by the Chaplain or by a student:
- Monday — 6.00pm
- Tuesday — 6.00pm
- Wednesday — 6.00pm
- Thursday — 12.15pm
- Friday — 12.15pm
On May Morning (Friday 1 May) the College Choir will be singing from the Library Tower at 8.00am. Balliol members are invited to come to the Garden Quad to listen to them.
Ascension Day will be celebrated on Thursday 14 May at 6.00pm. Choral Compline will take place on Wednesday 10 June (Week 7) at 9.00pm.
The Roman Catholic Mass will be celebrated in Chapel at 6.00pm on Wednesday 17 June.

This term, Chapel collections will be donated to Sing Inside, a project where Oxford students visit local prisons to deliver singing workshops and enables community-building for all in the prison setting. Thank you for your generosity.
