A central Oxford venue for large conferences
Offering 10 meeting rooms and 260 bedrooms right in the middle of Oxford, Balliol is an excellent place to hold educational or business conferences.
Guests enjoy being in the historic College buildings, some dating from the 15th century, and relaxing in the green and leafy Garden Quadrangle; at the same time they find here all the up-to-date conveniences they need. Our experienced and flexible staff are dedicated to ensuring that you have the event you want and making it a success.
The College facilities are available throughout the year for one-day or multi-day conferences. For conferences that require overnight accommodation, the College is available during the University vacations: see details of conference accommodation here.
Conference guests have meals in our 19th-century Hall, which seats 226: read more about eating in Hall.
We have a range of lecture and seminar rooms on the Broad Street site and at the modern Jowett Walk Buildings nearby. All meeting rooms can be equipped with a data projector, flipcharts and screens.
