Balliol College Insight Talks

Our Insight programmes consist of online academic sessions in which Oxford University Graduates introduce topics that link to their own research. Sessions take the form of workshops, and students will have the opportunity to ask questions. These are super-curricular programmes which will introduce participants to new areas of knowledge.

Who are they for?

Students in Y12, and those in KS4 who are looking to challenge themselves academically.

Insight into Maths

This year’s maths programme has now concluded. Recordings of the lectures can be found here.

Insight into Science

Recordings of the lectures can be found here.

The remaining talks for this science programme are listed below;

  • Monday 12th May: Careers in Animal Biology (Rescheduled)
  • Monday 19th May: Microcosmos — The Microbiology of Climate Change

Interested applicants should fill in this form at least 48 hours before the relevant talk date.

This year’s humanities programme has now concluded. Recordings of the lectures will be uploaded to YouTube in the near future.

Springboard Video Collection
