Master’s Field: accommodation

All student rooms have en-suite bathrooms (with a shower and basin), a desk and a bed. The rooms are in ‘clusters’, each cluster sharing a central communal area and a kitchen. There are also common rooms for larger gatherings: one for undergraduates and one for graduates.

Many of the study bedrooms have views on to the playing field, while others look out on to Jowett Walk or St Cross Road. All beds at the Master’s Field are small doubles (except for the bedrooms in building B2 which are standard singles). The different aspects and sizes of the rooms are reflected in the cost of the rent charged. Below is a selection of graduate rooms and communal areas, photographed on completion of the project in June 2021: they will be furnished in time for student occupation in Michaelmas Term 2021. There are photographs of rooms in Block A (undergraduate) here.

For disabled students, there are five graduate rooms and three undergraduate rooms. All the buildings have ground-level access and there are lifts to all floors throughout the site. There are photographs of disabled rooms here.
