Balliol was pleased to welcome its newest offer-holders to the College on 31 March 2026 for a day of visits and activities designed to introduce them to life at Balliol.
The programme began with tours of the College led by current students and a welcome talk from the Tutor for Admissions in the Gillis Lecture Theatre. Offer-holders then had the opportunity to meet with their subject tutors to learn more about their courses.
In the afternoon, the JCR Access and Admissions Rep, Gabriella Bedford, gave a presentation about the many aspects of student life. Alongside the formal programme, the day provided a valuable opportunity for offer-holders to meet one another, as well as to engage informally with tutors and current students ahead of beginning their studies in the autumn.
