On 27 June 2025, students, Fellows, staff, and guests gathered at Master’s Field to celebrate the end of the academic year at the June Jamboree, organised by the JCR June Jamboree Sub-Committee.
The summer garden party featured fayre-style games, food and drink, and the ever-popular Lindsay Bar, bringing the College community together in a relaxed and festive atmosphere.
Reflecting on the event, Towa Matsuda, Chair of the June Jamboree Sub-Committee and JCR Vice President commented:
‘There is an air of poignancy and reflection to the June Jamboree – it marks the end of another intense academic year. My vision was to create an event that truly reflected the Balliolite community, and this year, that vision was indeed brought to life.
‘Looking out over the Fields at a crowd larger than ever, I felt proud of what we accomplished. To see so many members of the JCR, MCR, SCR, and College staff, with their friends and families, come together was heartening.
‘The evening offered a welcome chance to decompress, with excellent food, Pimms, and games. My sincere thanks go to the dedicated JCR Committee members, our food vendors, and the Lindsay Bar team for making the day a success.’
