Balliol’s Master’s Field Development is a 2024 Civic Trust Awards Regional Finalist. Regional Finalists are ‘schemes which are of significant merit in their region, contributing to the quality and appearance of the built environment, whilst being sustainable, accessible, and providing a positive civic contribution’.
The Regional Finalists will be considered by the Civic Trust Awards National Judging Panel for a National Award or be Highly Commended. Winners will be announced at the annual Civic Trust Awards Ceremony in March.
The Master’s Field Development was designed by Niall McLaughlin Architects and completed in 2021. Ten accommodation blocks with over 200 study bedrooms for undergraduate and graduate students plus accommodation for Fellows are grouped around a pavilion, looking on to the Balliol sports ground.
