Academic subject(s):

Economics
  • Core subject area: Microeconomics, with a special emphasis on microeconomic theory and behavioural economics.
  • Teaching: Undergraduate and graduate microeconomics.
  • Research interests: I am interested in individual decision-making, with a special emphasis on its psychological foundations. In the main part of my research, I use theoretical techniques as well as some empirical and experimental tools to revolve around a better understanding of the relevant behavioural traits affecting the decisions and welfare of individuals. In some parallel works, I have also studied collective decision-making procedures, with a special focus on how their design influences the social outcomes and, consequently, the welfare of individuals.
