Congratulations to Martin Edwards (Balliol 1974), who has won the Crime Writers’ Association Dagger in the Library award 2018.
The CWA’s Dagger in the Library is ‘a prize for a body of work by an established crime writer that has long been popular with borrowers from libraries. It also rewards authors who have supported libraries and their users.’
Martin is the author of 18 crime novels, mostly recently Gallows Court, as well as more than 60 short stories. He has edited a number of crime anthologies and written non-fiction. The current chair of the CWA, he has also received the CWA Short Story Dagger and a number of other awards.
