We congratulate Andrew Paverd (2011) on winning a postdoctoral Fulbright Scholar Award 2017-18 in Cyber Security at the University of California, Irvine.
The Fulbright Scholar Awards scheme provides oportunities to academics to experience higher education in the USA, through 3-12-month lectureships or research projects. Andrew’s research focuses primarily on the use of secure hardware to build trust in computer systems. During his Fulbright exchange, he will explore the use of hardware security techniques in new application domains. In particular, he plans to collaborate with leading researchers and industry in the US to enhance security and privacy in emerging networking paradigms and the Internet of Things.
