Welcome events

The University runs Welcome Events and Orientation Programmes for international students. To register for an orientation programme, click here and use the code OP2017.

Banking

Banks will be present at these inductions to enable you to open an account. Some banks will allow you to open an account before you arrive. The University also has a helpful guide for opening a bank account. If you intend to bring money into the UK, you need to read about the relevant government regulations

Visa and immigration

The University has helpful pages about visas and immigration and how to apply for a Tier 4 Visa.

Language training

Oxford University Language Centre offers language courses for study and research as well as an English for Academic Studies programme for international students whose first language is not English.
