A grant from the Andrew Mason Memorial Fund may be made each year to a Balliol undergraduate of any nationality, for a summer vacation research project/internship in the sciences (including Engineering, Mathematics and Economics).
Prizes for outstanding academic achievement by Balliol undergraduates in particular areas.
Undergraduates who have excelled academically may be nominated first to Exhibitions and afterwards, with continuing excellent performance, to Scholarships.
