Physics & Philosophy at Balliol
Balliol is one of the large Physics colleges and you will be in a diverse year group of Physics & Philosophy students. Balliol has a particular commitment to fundamental aspects of Physics, such as quantum mechanics, particle physics, and theoretical physics, which is reflected in the tutors' research interests and the link to Philosophy. In Balliol, you will be taught by a strong team of three fellows and a long-term lecturer. Philosophy teaching is supported by three tutors in Philosophy, including a dedicated tutor for Physics & Philosophy with a background in Physics. Balliol is unique for the size of its Physics & Philosophy cohort and the tutorial support of the subject.
