Welcome to all Balliol Freshers. In these pages you will find everything that you need to know about starting life in College. Please read them through carefully. If you cannot find the answers to your questions here, you are invited to email the academic.administrator@balliol.ox.ac.uk. There is a limited amount of overlap with the mailing that is posted to you in August: of the items and sections below, only certain Letters (Financial, Medical, and Welcome) and the Freshers' Week Timetables are sent in hard copy.

Pre-Arrival
Please use our ticklist of things to do before coming up to Oxford, to make sure that your arrival is as smooth as possible. Online procedures include:
- Accommodation Preference Form for Undergraduates (due by 1 September)
- Balliol ID Card (due by 1 September; mandatory for all Balliol Freshers: you will need a digital passport-type photograph of yourself)
- Registration for Catering Pre-Payment (due by 10 October at latest)
