Bicycle store
Bicycles can be kept in the underground bicycle store in the front quad (staircase VII, basement). If you want to keep your bike there you must register it with the Lodge, who will give you a numbered Oxford University Security Pack (cost 60p) – you must fix the sticker found in this pack to your bike frame.
Computer room
The computer room on the main site is in the basement of staircase III. It is equipped with networked PCs, quality printers, CD-ROM writers and scanners.
Gym
There is a multi-gym on the main Broad Street site (in the basement of staircase XV under the JCR) and another one at Holywell Manor. If you want to use either gym you must attend an induction session first (usually held in Michaelmas term). Keys are available from the Lodge (but only for those who have been to an induction session). You must leave your University Card with the Lodge as a deposit when you take a key. Keys must not be passed on to others.
Laundry
The Laundry Room is located on staircase XXI in the basement. There are three large washing machines and three large tumble dryers. It is free for all JCR members to use (it is funded through a very small termly levy), and you can use it as often as you like, but you must book in advance in the post-room. You can book up to two slots at a time. One slot gives you access to one of the washing machines for one hour and one of the tumble dryers for the following hour. If you forget to book, you can use them between midnight and 6am without signing up.
Vacation Store Rooms
There are two vacation storerooms and a room for storing student fridges on staircase XIII in the basement. The Overseas Reps are in charge of these rooms.
