Balliol is fully networked, giving wired Internet connections in every student room. Students must however provide their own computers for use in their rooms.
We also have computer suites equipped with networked PCs, scanners, CD writers, and networked laser printers.
All students have access to email accounts and to a wide range of software, from standard word processing to subject-specific teaching packages. For many subjects, especially sciences, the College computing provision is essentially a supplement to facilities available on a University-wide basis.
